Another candidate stepped forward this week for the 2025 Fort Saskatchewan municipal election.

Pierre Lautischer has registered in the race for City Councillor. Lautischer is a local Rotary Club member, and an inspector with the Alberta Funeral Services Regulatory Board. A former peace officer and accountant, he has also written: "Become a Millionaire for What it Makes of You."

So far only Lisa Makin has registered as a candidate for Mayor, and Patrick Noyen and Stuart McGowan say they will run for City Councillor.
