Lamont County has issued a fire ban.

Campfires, fireworks, exploding targets, charcoal barbecues, burn barrels and other outside burning is now prohibited until further notice.

Propane barbecues and propane fire pits are permitted.

Off road vehicles are also banned on County right of ways, municipal property or trails.

This ban includes Chipman and the Town of Lamont.
