Farmers’ Market season begins
Fort Saskatchewan's Farmers' Market returns Thursday, June 5, for another season.
The market is held at the CN Station parking lot every Thursday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. through the summer. Organized by the Chamber of Commerce, it features farm produce, and locally made crafts and foodstuffs, such as jams, wines, pies and popcorn.
Drop by this Thursday for a free hot dog.
The model train display in the CN Station basement will also be open during every Farmer’s Market again this year. The display is operated by the Yellowhead Rail Club.
The farmers' market has been a feature of the downtown since 1985. It moved to the CN Station parking lot in 1997.
