Fort Saskatchewan RCMP have charged an Edmonton man with sexual assault of a minor.

Police said this week that they received a report of a sexual assault of a minor on June 29. One week later, on July 8, they arrested 22-year-old Edmonton resident Emyr Audric Ventula.

Ventula has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

Ventula has been released and is set to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Fort Saskatchewan on July 31.
