The Lions wading pool season has been extended again this year. The pool was closed Monday due to poor air quality, but will be open weekends through September.

The pool traditionally closed at the end of August, but started opening in September last year,

The pool, located at 9908 - 104 Street was built by the Lions in 1954. It is still maintained and operated by the local volunteer club, which also pays the wages of the staff.

The pool is now open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. weather permitting.

Admission is free, but restricted to age 8 and younger and their caregivers.
