Local Correctional Centre staff operated another successful Cram the Van campaign last week.

Staff were at the Wal-Mart parking lot Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6 and 7 to collect toys for the Families First Society annual Christmas program.

Cram the Van collected 1,293 toys and $2,585 in cash and gift cards this year. Thanks to the Correctional Centre staff and other donors, the society is able to help about 170 families with toys for children.
