Two new additions to the SouthPointe commercial centre are almost full as construction nears completion, but names of the new businesses have not been released.

Only two bays remain available for lease at the two new buildings now under construction at the centre just southwest of the Highway 15/21 intersection. But the latest Avison Young/Allard Developments sales brochure for the centre has yet to name any of the six businesses that have leased bays.

At least one of the new businesses appears to be a drive-thru and is therefore likely a fast food restaurant.

The new buildings are expected to be ready for occupancy this spring.

Once this latest phase is complete, there is still one more, larger phase proposed for the southwest corner of the property,. This would feature a building the size of the Winners/Petland/Sleep Country building.
